Welcome to DGTA

Welcome to the Directorate General Technical Airworthiness (DGTA) website. DGTA is a government body that strives to ensure the design, production and maintenance of state registered aircraft and the associated aeronautical products are consistent with the international standards and recommended practices.

We are responsible for all Malaysian State Aircraft Operator (SAO) stakeholders' technical airworthiness regulation compliance in aircraft certification and organisational approval (engineering, maintenance and training), including Royal Malaysian Air Force, Royal Malaysian Navy, Royal Malaysian Army, Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency and Fire & Rescue Department of Malaysia.

DGTA reports directly to the State Airworthiness Authority, General Tan Sri Dato' Sri Mohd Asghar Khan bin Goriman Khan RMAF,  the Chief of Air Force, and is currently manned by the aircraft engineers from all SAO.
