In conjunction with LIMA 2025, DGTA held a ceremony to hand over the Bilateral Military Airworthiness Recognition (BMAR) certificate with the Military Airworthiness Authority (MAA) of the Royal Thai Air Force and the Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA) of Australia.
This historic ceremony is a testament to the close cooperation established through the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) programs, namely the Air Working Group (AWG) MALTHAI and Air Staff Talks (AST RMAF-RAAF). DGTA has utilised these programs to enhance the management standards of the Malaysian State Airworthiness Authority (MSAA) and to ensure it remains aligned with the Military Airworthiness Authority (MAA) at the international level.

Subsequently, General Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Mohd Asghar Khan bin Goriman Khan RMAF also officiated alongside the Defence Advisor, Colonel Corey Shillabeer, who represented the Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA) of Australia. This event underscored the ongoing partnership and commitment between Malaysia and Australia in maintaining high standards of military airworthiness.
