Remarkably, on the 8^th January 2026, Col Nik Ahmad Nazri bin Nik Yacoob RMAF has handed over the position Director General of Directorate General Technical Airworthiness to Brigadier General Samsuri bin Abu Bakar RMAF.

The ceremony which took place at Eagle Nest, RMAF Headquarters was witnessed by the Deputy Chief of Air Force, Lieutenant General Dato’ Nur Hafis bin Abdul Karim RMAF and attended by senior RMAF officers.
