This SMEE- Airworthiness program is held in conjunction with the 101st Air Working Group (AWG) Meeting hosted by the RMAF was held in Malaysia, from 5th to 9th Sep 2022. The event took place at the Glenmarie Hotel & Golf Resort, Shah Alam.

The SMEE- Airworthiness program is co-chaired by the Director General of DGTA, Brig Gen Ir Nordin bin Abdul Ghani RMAF and the Deputy Director of Military Aviation Authority (MAA), RTAF, Gp. Capt. Chetta Rangnoi.

SMEE - Airworthiness Co-Chairman, Brig Gen Ir Nordin bin Abdul Ghani RMAF officiated the meeting by delivering his opening address and subsequently introduced the DGTA SMEE delegation. This was followed response speech by Gp. Capt. Chetta Rangnoi and the introduction of the MAA RTAF delegation.  

There are a few presentations and topics of discussion shared between both organisations, namely Bilateral/Mutual Airworthiness Recognition between DGTA & MAA RTAF, Implementation of Continuing Airworthiness Process, Implementation of Initial Airworthiness Process, Aircraft Certification and Registration and so on. 

Apart from the discussion, the MAA RTAF delegation was taken to an industrial visit at Galaxy Aerospace (M) Sdn Bhd and Destini Prima Sdn Bhd.

During Closing Addresses, both Chairman expressed their satisfaction with the result of the program. In conclusion, the meeting has achieved the objective of strengthening the mutual understanding and cooperation between both organizations.
