This SMEE program is held in conjunction with the Air Working Group (AWG) program between Malaysia and Thailand. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, this program is conducted via Video Tele-Conference (VTC) on 23 Feb 2022. 

 

The program is co-chaired by the Director General of DGTA, Brig Gen Ir Nordin bin Abdul Ghani RMAF and the Deputy Director of MAA RTAF, Gp. Capt. Chetta Rangnoi.  There are few presentations and topics of discussions shared between both organisations, namely Aircraft Maintenance License, Parts Fabrication and Approval Process, Aircraft Certification and Registration, C130 Avionics Upgrade Process and so on. 

 

The program started at 0900H and ended at 1600H. This is a fruitful one-day program with plenty of inputs and information exchanged between both organisations. Furthermore, MAA RTAF planned to visit DGTA end of this year to learn and discuss more about topics related to airworthiness. 

 

We hope that such program will continue in the future and kickstart a bilateral engagement or recognition between both organisations in the future.
