A day to remember - 7th May 2025 was a remarkable day for DGTA and four current AMTO holders (Hawk Mk 108/208 System School, EC 725 AP System School, Su-30MKM System School and Gading Kasturi Sdn Bhd) where the organisations were awarded the Aircraft Maintenance Training Organisation (AMTO) for the compliance with MSTAR 147 (new regulation).
The AMTO certification ceremony was officiated by Brigadier General Ruszali bin Zakaria RMAF, Director General of DGTA, to:

wk Mk 108/208 System School;
⦁ Maj Abd Farid bin Kamaludin RAMF, Accountable Manager’s representative of EC 725 AP System School;
⦁ Lt Ali Ahmad bin Mazlan RAMF, Accountable Manager’s representative of Su-30MKM System School, , and
⦁ Mr Shamsulnizam bin Yahya, Accountable Manager’s representative of Gading Kasturi Sdn Bhd.
The AMTO certificate is effective from 28 April 2025 with an unlimited duration, subject to continuous compliance with MSTAM, which allows the organisation to conduct training within the approved level and scope as defined in their certification.
This certification is based on the success of the organisation’s maintenance training management system documented in the Maintenance Training Organisation Exposition (MTOE), curriculums, and other essential elements (i.e. organisation, people, procedures, data, materiel, equipment, and facilities) had met the requirements of MSTAR 147 and MSTAR 66.
