MINDEF, 27 Feb 2026 - A certificate presentation ceremony took place at MK TD – Jab Arah Pasukan Udara Tentera Darat (PUTD) which was officiated by the Director General of DGTA, Brigadier General Samsuri bin Abu Bakar RMAF. Also present were the Director of the AAMR/TAQR Division, Colonel Marzuki bin Ramli RMAF, together with SMOR officers. The event was hosted by the Director General of PUTD, Brigadier General Mohd Zaki bin Abu.

As part of its continued commitment to ensuring airworthiness and technical excellence, the DGTA presented the MSTAR 145 Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) and Aircraft Maintenance Training Organisation (AMTO) certifications to the recognised organisations during the ceremony as follows:

1. Regiment 881 - Lt Col Mohd Khalid bin Ismail received the MSTAR 145 AMO certificate.

2. Regiment 883 - Lt Col Suhaire bin Ahmad Juri received the MSTAR 145 AMO certificate.

3. Regiment 881 - Lt Col Mohamad Iskandar bin Md Ruslan received the AMTO certificate.

4. 165 Military Intelligence Battalion (MIB) - Maj Azery bin Azman received the AMTO certificate.

The ceremony concluded with inspiring speeches from the Director General of DGTA and Director General of Jab Arah PUTD followed by a photo session.

The ceremony underscores DGTA’s ongoing commitment to enhancing regulatory oversight and promoting high professional standards in aviation maintenance and training, in line with efforts to ensure the highest levels of airworthiness.
