SUBANG, 2 Mar 2026 – The Directorate General Technical Airworthiness (DGTA) held a prestigious ceremony to present the MSTAR 145 Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) and Aircraft Maintenance Training Organisation (AMTO) certificates to several distinguished recipients, marking another milestone in strengthening Malaysian State aviation maintenance and training excellence.
The event, held at the Auditorium Music and Arts Branch (MUKES) was officiated by the Director General of DGTA, Brigadier General Samsuri bin Abu Bakar RMAF. He was accompanied by the Director of the AAMR/TAQR Division, Colonel Marzuki bin Ramli RMAF, and the Director of the AAER Division, Colonel Nik Ahmad Nazri bin Nik Yaacob RMAF.
The programme began with opening remarks by the Director General of DGTA, followed by a prayer recital, the certificate presentation ceremony, and concluded with photo session.
The presentation of the MSTAR 145 AMO certificates signifies the recipients’ commitment to upholding the objectives of the certification, particularly in ensuring aviation safety through strict compliance with applicable regulations. The certification further affirms that all recipients are qualified to carry out maintenance and repair activities in accordance with the approved scope and ratings as specified in their respective certificates.

Meanwhile, the Aircraft Maintenance Training Organisation (AMTO) certificates were awarded to the following organisation:
1. Cawangan Kejuruteraan, Kolej Tentera Udara - Capt Muhammad Syam Kushaini Bin Mohd RMAF, Ketua Flait Elektronik.
The AMTO certification recognises organisations that have successfully fulfilled the requirements to provide approved aircraft maintenance training in accordance with applicable regulatory standards, thereby contributing to the development of competent and qualified aviation maintenance personnel.
