It was an honor when the DGTA held the ceremony of awarding the Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) Certificate to Aerospace Technology Corporation Sdn Bhd (ATSC) on 10 August 2023. This event involves AMO in services of the Malaysian Armed Forces conducted by ATSC in the Intermediate Level Maintenance (ILM) and Depot Level Maintenance (DLM) on Aircraft Su-30MKM Weapon Systems, Service Life Extension (SLE) and 10 years of Preventive Restoration Works (PRW). The maintenance of Aircraft Su-30MKM involves ATSC Division Operations in Gong Kedak. The supply Chain Division is located at the RMAF Kuantan which is the base of now now-retired Mikoyan MiG-29 of RMAF. The supply Chain Division provides full product support via procurement of spares, POL, Consumables, components, and parts for Su-30MKM aircraft.
 
AMO certification by DGTA marks a new history for ATSC, the ceremony of the AMO certificate was successfully completed by the DGTA Director General, Brigadier General Ir. Nordin bin Abdul Ghani RMAF witnessed by Lt Col Dato’ Hj Fadzar Bin Suhada RMAF (R) – Accountable Manager of ATSC, Lt Col Pidrus Bin Hassan- Senior Maintenance Manager (SMM), Abu Zarrin bin Abu Bakar - Quality Manager.
 
With the awarding of this AMO certificate, ATSC has been given the responsibility to provide maintenance on Intermediate Level Maintenance (ILM) and Depot Level Maintenance (DLM) on Aircraft Su-30MKM Weapon Systems, Service Life Extension (SLE) and 10 years of Preventive Restoration Works (PRW) as desired. In the Contract, ATSC shall be responsible for the service and maintenance of Su-30MKM MRO and Supply Chain for all systems incorporated in the aircraft including non-Russian equipment to ensure that all aircraft operated by the RMAF are in a state of readiness.
