Galaxy Aerospace Malaysia Sdn Bhd was awarded the Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) by DGTA on 12th September 2023 at Galaxy Aerospace Operation Centre, Subang.  The award of AMO certification by DGTA for Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency Airbus Helicopters Dauphine AS365N3 helicopters sculpts a new history for Galaxy Aerospace as this is the second type of Airbus Helicopters to be maintained by Galaxy Aerospace.
 
The AMO certificate submission was successfully officiated by the Director General of DGTA, Brigadier General Ir. Nordin bin Abdul Ghani RMAF to Dato’ Shamsul Kamar bin Samsudin, Managing Director of Galaxy Aerospace Malaysia Sdn Bhd, during the event.
 
The AMO certificate is effective from 1st July 2022 to 30 June 2025 in performing the maintenance of Airbus Helicopters AS365N3 for the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) under the scope of Organisation Level Maintenance (OLM), Intermediate Level Maintenance (ILM) and Unscheduled Maintenance on Dauphine AS365N3 helicopters and Arriel 2C Engine.

Galaxy Aerospace was awarded Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) by DGTA for the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency helicopter AW 139 on 27 Mar 2021. Galaxy Aerospace was also awarded Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) by DGTA for the Royal Malaysian Navy Helicopter Fennec AS555SN on 1 July 2021, helicopter Super Lynx MK100 on 8 June 2022 and helicopter AW 139 on 7 April 2022.
 
In addition, Galaxy Aerospace is also actively involved in carrying out minor modifications for both civil and military operators. Galaxy Aerospace was awarded Authorised Engineering Organisation by DGTA for the scope of Design Development, review, and approval of the Design Data Package for Minor Modification, Middle Life Upgrade (MLU) and Non-Standard Repair on Royal Malaysian Navy AS 555 SN Fennec Helicopter on 15 July 2021. Galaxy Aerospace was also awarded with Authorised Engineering Organisation for the Royal Malaysian Navy Super Lynx and HOM AW139 on 14th Oct 2022.
