This workshop aims to develop the Design Organisation Exposition (DOE) to meet the requirements of the Malaysian State Technical Airworthiness Regulation 21 (MSTAR 21) for Subpart J - Design Organisation Approval. 
 
The participants are from the State Aircraft Operator (SAO) and Commercial Industry, which currently holds Authorised Engineering Organisation (AEO) certification from DGTA.This is in line with the migration of Technical Airworthiness Management Manual (TAMM) rules to MSTAR.
 
The Director of AAER, Col Ruszali bin Zakaria RMAF, officiated the DOE workshop.

The approach of the workshop was group discussion and presentation of the draft DOE of each organisation. DGTA collaborates with Prof Madya Ir. Ts. Abu Hanifah bin Hj Abdullah from UniKL- MIAT as facilitator for the workshop.

All participants submitted draft DOEs to DGTA by the end of the workshop with the final draft submission set in September 2024.

During the workshop closing ceremony, an Authorised Engineering Organisation (AEO) and Authorised Maintenance Organisation (AMO) certification was presented to 4 organisations.

G7 Aerospace Sdn. Bhd (Malacca) received the AEO Certification for Design Development, Review, Approval of Design Data Package and Fabrication of Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) for Pasukan Udara Tentera Darat (PUTD).

CAIDMARK Sdn Bhd received AEO Certification for Provision of Aircraft Structural Integrity (ASI) activities on RMAF FA-18D, C-130H, Hawk Mk108/208, A400M and Su-30MKM Aircraft and Engine Structural Integrity (ESI) activities on RMAF FA-18D and Su-30MKM Engines.

Rejimen Pasukan Udara Tentera Darat (PUTD) received the AMO Certification for Organisational Level Maintenance (OLM) and limited Intermediate Level Maintenance (ILM) for MD350G Aircraft, Aeronautical products, and aircraft-related equipment.

DEFTECH Aviation received the AMO Certification Intermediate Level Maintenance (ILM) and Depot Level Maintenance (DLM) on Repair and Maintenance of Aircraft & Non-Aircraft composites Components for RMAF.
