Sel Latihan Teknikal, Cawangan Latihan Aviasi, Rejimen 881 PUTD was awarded the Aircraft Maintenance Training Organisation (AMTO) by DGTA on 11 Dec 2024 at Jabatanarah PUTD, MINDEF. The AMTO certification was presented by the Director General of DGTA, Brigadier General Ruszali bin Zakaria RMAF to the Accountable Manager of Cawangan Latihan Aviasi, Rejimen 881 PUTD, Lt Col Mohamad Iskandar bin Md Ruslan and witnessed by Director General of PUTD, Brigadier General Mohd Zaki bin Abu.

The AMTO certificate is effective from 15 Nov 2024 until 14 Nov 2025 and granted as a Provisional Approval for Sel Latihan Teknikal, Cawangan Latihan Aviasi, Rejimen 881 PUTD to conduct Type/Task Training with the scope of Aeromechanical & Avionic - General Familiarisation Training for A109 LOH aircraft.

This Provisional Approval is based on the success of the organisation’s maintenance training management system documented in the Maintenance Training Organisation Exposition (MTOE), curriculum, and other essential elements (i.e. organisation, people, procedures, data, materiel, equipment, and facilities) had met the requirements of MSTAR 147 and MSTAR 66.
